- **Lead the E&I Maintenance Team**: Oversee the daily activities of the E&I maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- **Manage Instrument PMs and Critical Tasks**: Utilize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage instrument preventive maintenance and critical tasks.
- **Coordinate SIS Testing and Compliance**: Ensure that all Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) are properly tested and maintained to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- **Oversee MOC and Corrective Actions**: Manage all changes to our electrical and instrumentation systems, including Maintenance of Change (MOC) and Corrective Actions.
- **Promote Safety and Support Technician Development**: Foster a culture of safety within the E&I group and provide guidance and support to technicians to help them develop their skills.
- **Provide Guidance on Reliability Programs**: Collaborate with our reliability team to develop and implement programs that improve the reliability of our electrical and instrumentation systems.
- **Manage E&I Work during Outages**: Oversee all E&I work during planned outages, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- **Collaborate on Procurement Contracts**: Work with our procurement team to develop and manage contracts for electrical and instrumentation equipment and services.
- **Maintain Cost Control and Budget Adherence**: Manage the budget for the E&I maintenance team, ensuring that all expenses are properly tracked and reported.
**Requirements**:
- **Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering**: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
- **7+ Years of Experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance**: A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a PSM-regulated chemical plant.
- **Proven Management Background**: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, with a proven track record of budget management and staff supervision.
- **Knowledge of Industrial Electrical Codes and PSM Principles**: Familiarity with industrial electrical codes, RAGAGEP, and PSM principles is required.
- **Ability to Work without Sponsorship**: The ability to work in the US without sponsorship is required.
