Role Summary:

The responsibilities include designing tables, stored procedures, views, and functions.

  • Possesses deep expertise in crafting and evaluating SQL queries, focusing on the development and maintenance of systems that effectively store, organize, and retrieve data.
  • Accountable for delivering high-quality data solutions and conducting research to identify necessary data.
  • Constructs valuable reporting outputs and assesses existing SQL queries for potential performance enhancements.
  • Proposes innovative queries and formulates procedures and scripts for seamless data migration.
  • Integrates elements of programming, software engineering, and data architecture management.
  • Enhances SQL statements for optimal data access and retention while performing routine database management tasks.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include a knowledge base and skill set equivalent to 6 years of higher education (Master's Degree is advantageous) with substantial coursework in computer science or related technical disciplines, complemented by a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in SQL Reporting Development for extensive web-based applications.

It is particularly advantageous for a Lead SQL Reporting Specialist to possess skills, training, and/or experience in any or all of the following areas:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Data Management and Analytics
  • Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
  • SQL Certified Developer Certification
