Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing and coordinating the housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a focus on safe and efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage housekeeping and laundry resources, tasks, and requirements
  • Ensure sufficient staffing and productivity to meet business demands
  • Oversee administrative processes, including staffing, training, and budgeting
  • Communicate effectively with hotel department heads and front desk staff
  • Drive effective communication across housekeeping and laundry departments
  • Coordinate E-Check-in, arrival, departure, and special needs of guests
  • Anticipate and follow through on guest service needs
  • Oversee inventory and ordering supplies and linens
  • Provide training to housekeeping personnel
  • Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house
  • Ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards, and regulations

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to move throughout the building and assist staff members
