We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our fire protection systems team, you will be responsible for conducting installation, maintenance, and repairs on sprinkler and suppression life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems
- Follow all safety policies and maintain proper documentation for work performed
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical labor
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License, and a dependable means of transportation to the employer's place of business and/or jobsite
- Ability to work well with others
- Be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the daily work, with or without a reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals and operational/product manuals
- Understands the importance of providing quality service, inspection and technical installation support
- Experience with hand tools
