THE ROLE

As a Baker Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef, contributing to the creation and execution of exceptional scratch-made pastries and desserts. It is essential that you possess a strong foundation in culinary techniques and demonstrate a commitment to your craft. WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • A passion for the culinary arts, particularly in baking and pastry.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a culinary role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for creating documents and lists.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with team members at all levels.
  • Conversational proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • Ability to perform basic math for ingredient measurements and inventory tasks.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume demands.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items as needed in the kitchen.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods while preparing menu items.
Pay Range: $18.29 per hour
