TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, a leading Contract Delivery Service provider for the United States Postal Service, is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to deliver mail on a CDS mail route in the Phoenix, NY area.
Applicants must be at least 19 years old, have a valid New York driver's license, and be able to lift 70 lbs. They must also be able to work in various weather conditions and reside in the area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 136 active boxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail along an assigned 18.6-mile line-of-travel
- Dismounting to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Performing other administrative duties as required
The applicant must provide a vehicle that meets postal regulations and meet postal driving requirements. The vehicle must have 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels, and the applicant must have $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle.
The applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs.
Employment begins as soon as possible, with a day shift, part-time schedule, generally one day per week. The pay is $24.26 per hour, plus vehicle reimbursement.
The benefits include straight time, health and welfare, holiday, and vehicle reimbursement paid out. Benefits are paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.
The rate of pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
