Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • If lacking an Associate's degree, a high school diploma/GED combined with 2 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • If lacking a Bachelor's degree, a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the nuclear cybersecurity program, including NEI standards (NEI 08-09, NEI 13-10, and NEI 04-04).
  • Experience with NIST cybersecurity controls.
  • Proven knowledge of technical and programmatic cybersecurity controls and protective strategies.
  • Understanding of computer networks, servers, and cybersecurity-related devices (such as firewalls and SIEM).
  • Experience in the security aspects of various platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cybersecurity and Operational Technology (OT).
  • Familiarity with various programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBA).
  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise SIEM.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels (clients, staff, management, etc.).
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills.

Specific Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain nuclear site Unescorted Access.
  • This position may require regional travel (50% or more).

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work schedule – 2 days onsite and 2 days remote.
  • Primarily an office environment with some responsibilities at generation plants.
