Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Associate to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to homeless individuals and veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide client support and interactions, establishing rapport and building trust with program participants.
  • Distribute food, change linens, complete incident reports, and case notes for families, and notify additional security services as needed.
  • Assist with basic needs, ensuring access to essentials.
  • Monitor the environment to ensure the safety of clients and the facility.
  • Assist with case management, conducting assessments as needed to understand each client's unique situation and needs.
  • Provide resource referrals, documentation, and reporting, as well as advocacy, skill building, and continuous training and learning.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with the homeless community or previous experience in Behavioral Health.
  • Relevant experience in case management or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with program participants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation purposes.
  • Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
