Job Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in our 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department, ranked #2 in Lifepoint Health. As an RN in our ER, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.



  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other medical emergencies.

  • A quick assessment of patient conditions, prioritizing care based on severity, and initiating appropriate interventions.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

  • Administer life-saving treatments and interventions for trauma patients, including wound care, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and positive patient outcomes.

  • Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

  • Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all patients and staff.
