About the Role

Bozeman Health seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, assessing patients' needs and developing individualized plans of care.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS certification, ACLS within 4 months of hire, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 6 months of hire, PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification within 1 year of hire, Trauma Nursing Core Course certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience: 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience preferred.

  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
  • On-Call Availability: Ability to respond promptly to organizational and patient needs during on-call periods.
