We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Thrift Store Associate to join our team at Family & Children's Services. As a Thrift Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and appearance of our store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandise Processing: Unload merchandise from the truck, process incoming clothing and furniture donations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Inventory Management: Sort, categorize, price, and tag merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stockroom operations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Store Maintenance: Aid in the general upkeep of the thrift store, including cleaning, dusting, and restocking shelves.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with agency employees to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of prior cash register and retail experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift over 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
- Attendance: Great attendance record required.
