We are looking for a skilled Predictive Risk Modeler to conduct comprehensive risk evaluations on our multifamily housing portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in econometrics, statistical analysis, and advanced modeling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement predictive risk models, effectively manage project timelines, and collaborate with team members and clients.
  2. Analyze credit risk associated with multifamily residential, nursing home, and hospital loans by estimating and validating loan-level logistic regression and survival analysis models.
  3. Create, refine, and execute a stochastic simulation model that forecasts credit risk and outstanding insurance liabilities for both new and existing business portfolios.
  4. Maintain a robust analytical support framework and a loan performance database containing over 2 million historical records spanning 40 years.
  5. Formulate risk management strategies and conduct policy analysis for new loan insurance programs and modifications to underwriting criteria.
  6. Develop and uphold a credit risk scoring system utilized by clients as an early warning mechanism.
  7. Ensure the integrity of data collected from various sources for predictive modeling and analysis.
  8. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation that outline the performance metrics of the multifamily residential and healthcare portfolios to both internal teams and clients.
  9. Execute all analytical and modeling tasks using SAS.
  10. Propose enhancements to streamline processes, bolster internal controls, and comply with modeling best practices.

Position Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in developing logistic regression and Monte-Carlo simulation forecasting models.
  2. Strong background in credit analysis, with experience in constructing and monitoring risk metrics.
  3. In-depth understanding of statistical and econometric principles, along with substantial analytical experience.
  4. Proficiency in SAS coding is preferred.
  5. Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, with a strong focus on prioritization.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, with a capacity for independent learning and self-motivation.
  8. Commitment to achieving agreed-upon objectives within designated timeframes.
