Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at CI – The Manufacturing Career HUB. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, painting, inspecting, and testing a variety of designs and sizes of fractional horsepower fans, blowers, and modules.


The ideal candidate will have experience with soldering, circuit board assembly, and electro-mechanical assembly. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to lift up to 20lbs. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble final fan, blower, and module products from electrical and mechanical subcomponents following drawings, work instructions, and in-process inspection requirements.
  • Perform a wide range of tasks to assemble a fan, blower, and module, including operation of equipment to assemble mechanical subcomponents, magnetizing, soldering wires/components, circuit boards, box soldering, encapsulation, and part inspection.
  • Interpret part drawings and participate in improvement discussions with technical support groups.
  • Participate with teams to solve department area problems.
  • Measure parts using basic measuring tools and basic math skills.
  • Maintain established standards of quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Record information or data describing work performed or defects found.
  • Conduct product testing and performance testing, including recording of results.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including required Personal Protective Equipment for the respective job being performed.

Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent experience.
  • Manufacturing experience and soldering experience a plus.
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
