Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Services Consultant to join our team at WES Health System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and be able to provide high-quality services to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily social work services for a minimum of 6.5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
  • Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with identified students, prioritizing those with IEPs.
  • Facilitate group process and psycho-education sessions with identified scholars.
  • Develop and implement school-wide workshops and professional development sessions.
  • Manage and follow through on multi-agency services provided to students and their families.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and community agencies.
  • Document each service encounter within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data reports for groups, workshops, and individual interventions.

Requirements:

  • A licensed social worker or MSW or school guidance counselor.
  • Current certificate of professional liability insurance.
  • Ability to adjust work hours in accordance with scholar needs.
  • Complete training hours every two years to maintain licensure.
  • Valid PA State Criminal History Report, PA Child Abuse Clearances, and FBI Criminal History Report.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing scholar information.

Working Conditions:

The Consultant will work on a part-time basis, with a minimum of 6.5 hours per day, 5 days a week. The Consultant will be available to perform services on GLA premises during normal business hours.

The Consultant is expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
