Patient Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary:
Maintain effective patient appointment scheduling processes to meet patient and provider needs in the Mahaska Health Medical Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily patient scheduling.
- Provide customer-focused, efficient, and professional telephone, electronic, and face-to-face scheduling.
- Partner with the registration department to provide effective and efficient check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with all members of the Medical Group and supporting departments.
- Courteously facilitate and handle requests, complaints, and communications with staff, physicians, and patients/visitors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate's degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) at all levels of the organization.
Open Hours:
Part-time: Friday 10am - 7pm, Saturdays & Sundays 7:30am - 4pm
