Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented College Custodian to join our team at Harper College. As a College Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including classrooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain College facilities, including classrooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Provide custodial services, including vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dust mopping, and wet mopping floors.
  • Clean and maintain furniture, whiteboards, windows, and walls.
  • Empty and clean waste receptacles, and replenish restroom supplies.
  • Perform other custodial duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least six months of janitorial/housekeeping/custodial experience.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to vacuum, wet/dry vacuum, carpet extract, shampoo, strip, and wax floors.
