Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant to join our team at 4Creeks, Inc. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the project accounting function, developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and leading monthly project review calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Accounting Management
    • Manage the project accounting function for all sizes of projects, from basic to high complexity
    • Develop and maintain project accounting policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Review and analyze general ledger account balances and make recommendations for corrections
    • Compile financial reports for management
    • Provide monthly variances for assigned budget areas
  • Financial Operations
    • Coordinate external and internal audits
    • Prepare audit schedules and update financial statements
    • Facilitate audit requests and provide support
  • Client Invoicing and Billing
    • Prepare client invoices for contracts
    • Verify contract terms and collate invoice packages
    • Filing and retention of invoice documentation
  • Project Closure and Compliance
    • Closes out completed projects in accordance with company policies and procedures
    • Research tax requirements for project location and administer audit for compliance
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of varying and gradual accounting experience and construction experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Computer skills and efficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
