We are seeking an experienced Application Modernization Practice Leader to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Digital Modernization Sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Application Modernization Practice Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a robust app modernization strategy aligned with customer goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of application modernization architects and engineers, cloud architects and engineers, software developers, user experience, and consultants.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their app modernization needs and challenges.
  • Solution Development: Design and architect app modernization solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Practice Growth: Drive revenue growth by expanding our app modernization services portfolio.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Thought Leadership and Training: Stay informed about app modernization industry advancements and certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (at least 15 years) in Enterprise Application Migration/Modernization or related technology.
  • Strong knowledge of agile and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (PaaS and SaaS), containerization platforms, microservices frameworks, API management platforms, low code/no code platforms, and platform provider solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
