We welcome candidates at any experience level, whether you are embarking on your career or possess extensive expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments (Cutting operations and bay pulling) to ensure all necessary materials are appropriately prepared for fabrication.
- Arrange, position, align, and assemble components in various postures.
- Secure, clamp, and weld metal components of products, including piping systems, plates, tubes, or structural shapes.
- Clean or degrease weld joints or work areas using tools such as wire brushes or portable grinders.
- Eliminate excess weld, defective weld material, slag, and spatter using handheld grinders, gas torches, scrapers, or power chipper tools.
- Preheat workpieces utilizing hand torches.
- Cut metal plates or structural shapes as required.
- Inspect welds for bead size and compliance with specifications.
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience in the field or a related area.
- Computer Skills: Not applicable.
- Certification/Licenses: None specifically required.
