Industrial Maintenance Technician

At Darling Ingredients Inc., we are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance & Repair Technician to join our production team. As an Industrial Maintenance & Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including daily greasing and oiling.
- Complete corrective maintenance tasks as needed.
- Repair or replace pumps, gearboxes, piping, packing, and hydraulics.
- Assist other maintenance personnel on special fabrication or construction projects.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Attend safety meetings and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Experience in operating a forklift.
- Ability to use a cutting torch and stick welder.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely on wet and slippery floors and in variable temperatures.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Vocational school training.
- Basic 480 electrical skills.
- Good math skills.
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance and manufacturing equipment operations.
