The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's Revenue Cycle Department is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Denial Management Specialist III MSRDP to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex minor and/or major surgical procedures, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up with payers to resolve denials and improve revenue cycle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume of complex denials, including minor and major surgical procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve denial rates and reduce follow-up time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical and billing departments, to resolve denials and improve revenue cycle performance
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimal performance
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in clinical denial management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
