Position Title:
Research Chemist I

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Senior Chemist

Department:
Research and Development

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records
  • Prepare and formulate batches
  • Compile ingredient lists with qualitative and quantitative data
  • Verify specifications from previous batches
  • Monitor ongoing stability studies
  • Engage with raw material suppliers
  • Participate in vendor presentations
  • Input formulations into the company’s formulation software
  • Discuss results with the supervising chemist
  • Conduct physical parameter analyses of lab batches, including viscosity, pH, and density

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field with coursework in chemistry and organic chemistry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly
