We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead our Cardiovascular Service line. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, directing, and supervising the functions of the Cardiovascular Service line, including the operational oversight of the Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient throughput.
- Manage the department budget and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Invest in lifelong learning for staff professional development and ensure employees complete required annual competencies.
- Maintain own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure.
- Communicate important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of success in managing budgets and leading teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
