Before and After School Program Staff

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Before and After School Program Staff to join our team in Fairfield, CT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children in our program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements:
- You're 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion.
- Get ready to ace a background check, including fingerprinting, references, etc.
- You've got the green light from your doctor - medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
- You're warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with kiddos, parents, or fellow team members. Plus, you're professional, reliable, and always prompt.
- You're ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with kids.
