- Achieves maintenance human resource goals by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, mentoring, advising, and managing staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, evaluating job performance; recommending compensation adjustments; adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensures maintenance operational excellence by contributing maintenance insights to strategic planning and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service benchmarks; troubleshooting issues.
- Maintains financial accountability in maintenance by providing annual budget data; tracking expenditures; identifying discrepancies; implementing corrective measures.

- Upholds a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Expands job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities; reviewing technical literature.
- Fulfills maintenance and organizational objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary.
