Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.
  • Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, including troubleshooting and teaching troubleshooting processes.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests, and evaluate performance and reliability.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  • A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
