Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician I to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in avionics and electrical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  2. Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Perform the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
  4. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, and troubleshoot processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  5. Acquire and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently repair or replace defective components and wiring.
  6. Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  7. Assist in set up and operation of necessary test equipment, and conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  8. Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.
  9. Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
  10. Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Additional Requirements
  1. In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.
