Job Summary

Costa Sanders is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial sanding and brushing machines. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Specialist to join our client support and service team.

The successful candidate will assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and repairing of Costa sanding and brushing equipment on-site at customer facilities. They will also provide technical support, spare parts, and personnel training to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new equipment installations, including final setup and assembly, leveling and calibration checks, primary system and safety testing, start-up, and customer training.
  • Work to troubleshoot and repair existing machines on-site at customer facilities.
  • Perform preventative maintenance evaluations and calibrations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work performance and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or some technical schooling.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in working on industrial machinery or related mechanical repair.
  • Ability to understand and learn to read electrical schematics and prints.
  • Mechanically inclined, comfortable working with various hand tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel in the United States.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and kneeling required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year Associate's Degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
  • Basic computer skills, background in networks and software support helpful.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
