Job Summary:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing precise and timely histological services, supporting patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining to prepare high-quality histologic slides for microscopic examination.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with special staining procedures, including immunohistochemistry, to support detailed tissue analysis.
• Accurately label, document, and track specimens to maintain the integrity of patient information and test results.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting of findings.
• Stay current with the latest histology techniques, safety regulations, and ASCP certification requirements.

Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology or a related field.
• ASCP certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL).
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a histology lab setting
