**Job Overview:**
VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our team in Rutland county. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, support, and companionship to individuals in need.
**About the Role:**
- This full-time position involves providing daily patient assignments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring accurate reporting of patient data, and maintaining effective communication with patients and their families.
- You will perform interventions and procedures as directed, adhering to individualized patient plans and advocating for quality care that meets each patient's unique needs.
**Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant at VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Inc, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the collection and reporting of patient data, working closely with Registered Nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Providing personal care services, including activities of daily living, ambulation, and exercises, as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity, promoting a positive and supportive environment throughout the care journey.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid State of Vermont Nursing Assistant License.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Experience or recent graduation from an LNA program is highly desirable.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
