The Department of Cardiology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is seeking a full-time Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team.
The Corewell Health Dearborn Electrophysiology lab is equipped with the latest technology, including leadless pacemaker implants, His bundle pacing, cryoablation, and complex device extractions in a hybrid OR.
Opportunities to participate in left atrial appendage closure procedures are also available.
The Heart Rhythm Center is staffed Monday-Friday from operating 2 electrophysiology labs, with physicians supported by a combination of nurses and RCES certified cardiovascular technicians.
Available 3D mapping systems include Abbott, Ensite Velocity, and PhillisKodex. Device implants, device extractions, and ablations, including Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, by Radiofrequency or Cryoablation, are performed.
One day per week is dedicated to follow-ups and consults, and interpretation of Holter/Event monitors.
As an employed physician, you will have knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage of the resources and referral base of the larger Beaumont Health system.

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has served residents across southeastern Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, it is a major teaching and research hospital and home to three medical residency programs in partnership with the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
It is a verified Level II trauma center and an accredited primary stroke center by Joint Commission. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women's health, heart and vascular, and cancer care, as well as other specialty services.
