The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the functionality of warehouse activities, including stock management, equipment upkeep, and overall facility presentation.
Daily Responsibilities
- Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including the exterior premises.
- Accurately tracks inventory levels throughout the month to reduce potential losses.
- Supports the Warehouse Manager by notifying when stock levels are low and safely disposing of any damaged goods as necessary.
- Oversees the maintenance and servicing schedule for forklifts.
- Assists the Warehouse Manager in monitoring the mileage and required maintenance for delivery vehicles.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is expected.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Must successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation.
- Possession of a CDL license or the capability to obtain one.
- Ability to lift or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific needs of the location.
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Strong mathematical and reading comprehension skills are essential.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work environment for this role is typical of a warehouse and distribution center, where noise levels can range from moderate to loud, and occasionally very loud. This position requires manual dexterity for various tasks and involves talking, listening, walking, standing, and sitting. Regular lifting or moving of items up to 50 pounds is a requirement.
