Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for synchronizing and facilitating the flow of work and materials between and within our company's departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine production and assign work to ensure compliance with production plans.
  • Liaise with management to establish work progress.
  • Collaborate with project management to prepare for project review meetings.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Receive shipments of materials and examine deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications.
  • Facilitate the flow of materials between various departments and parties.
  • Examine job cost reports for inconsistencies, such as mischarges.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of warehouse.
  • Meet and collaborate with management to assess reliability of suppliers and vendors, and to identify solutions for ongoing problems.
  • Perform clerical duties and maintain accurate records and files of activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient understanding of materials and services procurement.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient people skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
