Job Summary

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare is currently hiring a Patient Care Associate to join our team. This role involves providing basic nursing assistance and supporting residents with daily living activities under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence management.
  • Obtaining food trays and assisting residents with feeding.
  • Aiding residents with range of motion exercises and mobility within the facility.
  • Turning and positioning residents in bed, as well as assisting with ambulation for short distances.
Requirements:
  • A valid certification as an LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in the state of employment.
  • Six months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Benefits:
