We are seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our team in Burlington, WI. This role will involve providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Job Description:
* Provides dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
* Sets up, tests, and operates hemodialysis machines for patient treatments
* Obtains and documents necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient
* Evaluates vascular access pre-treatment and performs vascular access cannulation
* Monitors patients' response to dialysis therapy

Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
2. Setting up, testing, and operating hemodialysis machines for patient treatments
3. Obtaining and documenting necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient
4. Evaluating vascular access pre-treatment and performing vascular access cannulation
5. Monitoring patients' response to dialysis therapy

Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. required
* Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility (preferred but not required)
* Successful completion of the Fresenius Medical Care dialysis training program and CPR certification
