Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and friendly Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, ensuring a smooth checkout process, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Bag groceries efficiently and accurately, ensuring that customers receive their items in a timely manner
  • Assist customers with loading bags into their vehicles and provide additional support as needed
  • Perform basic shelf conditioning, including restocking and facing merchandise
  • Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions
  • Return merchandise to store shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Assist with cleaning spills, collecting trash, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store
  • Understand and adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any issues to management
  • Report any safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
Requirements
  • Customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure
  • Retail experience is preferred but not necessary
