Hospice RN On Call

Amedisys is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Hospice RN On Call. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, providing much-needed care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions
- Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized patient care progress records with accuracy and timeliness
- Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team
- Make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed, or document rationale for not doing so
- Perform on-call responsibilities and on-call services to patients/families as assigned
- Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work
- One+ year of nursing experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
- Attractive pay with a salary range of $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
- A full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans

- Up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, when enrolled in an Amedisys HSA medical plan
- Up to $500 in wellness rewards for completing activities during the year
