About the Role

At Summit Funding, we're seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team of successful professionals. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, support, and best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert: You will be the go-to expert on the mortgage process and product knowledge, providing guidance and support to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Market Analysis and Trends: You will stay up-to-date on local mortgage needs and real estate market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and the competitive landscape.
  • Relationship Building: You will develop long-term relationships with realtors, homebuilders, and other self-generated purchase-focused referral sources through daily, weekly, and monthly touches.
  • Loan Origination and Closing: You will originate and close residential home loans, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions.
Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation structure provides opportunities for growth and success, with commission rates ranging between 50 to 150 basis points per loan depending on position, experience, and location.

Requirements
  • Experience: Currently producing Mortgage Loan Originators with stable work history.
  • Closing Performance: Closing at least 1 residential home loan a month on average.
  • Licensing: Must be currently licensed with NMLS.
  • Referral Database: Must have an established referral database for sourcing your own purchase leads.
