Job Summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our team in Nampa. As an ED Tech, you will provide high-quality patient care and support clinical staff in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clinical staff in providing patient care and performing tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Collect blood samples and transport specimens to the laboratory
  • Assist with patient identification and documentation
  • Perform clerical and receptionist duties as needed
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Idaho or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification by the State of Idaho or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network (MTN)
  • 6 months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred
  • Recent experience working with pediatric patients and/or phlebotomy in an acute care setting preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
