Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric Intensivist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Ascension Seton. As a Pediatric Intensivist, you will work closely with our team of physicians and nurses to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Licensed Physician Assistant, Certified Physician Assistant.
- Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program, Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
