We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Enrichment Director to join our team at Prestige Assisted Living at Marysville. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing life enrichment and resident activity programs that promote a culture of wellness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a creative life enrichment program that aligns with the Celebrations philosophy of wellness.
- Plan and coordinate life enrichment calendar and newsletter each month, incorporating Celebrations wellness programming and special events.
- Collaborate with the Community Relations Director, Wellness Coach, and Executive Director to develop a comprehensive calendar of events and activities.
- Coordinate transportation of residents and operate company vehicles as needed.
- Implement Linked Senior technology and encourage resident independent usage, tracking attendance and engagement through Linked Senior Context.
- Develop person-centered programming by assisting in the completion of Celebrations documents and programs.
- Partner with the Expressions Director to create and lead monthly programming for the Expressions neighborhood.
- Maintain life enrichment budget, equipment, and supplies.
- Participate in the review of individual Residents' Service Plans and document life enrichment progress.
- Train staff on life enrichment, Linked Senior devices, and other areas that promote engagement and quality of life for residents.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
- Participate in planning resident move-outs with other members of the management team.
- Develop community resources and contacts to enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Previous experience transporting residents preferred.
- One or more years of direct programming experience with older adults preferred.
- Ability to meet insurance qualifications to operate company vehicles, including passenger vans and bus.
- Valid commercial Class B driver's license (CDL) may be required by local, state, and federal law and regulations.
