POSITION SUMMARY:

The Food & Beverage Attendant operates under the direct guidance of the Food and Beverage Supervisors. This role is essential for taking and delivering food and beverage orders to guests, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. The Attendant must possess the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

The Attendant is skilled in various food and beverage outlets and may be required to work across multiple locations. This role is versatile and may involve responsibilities in different capacities within the Food and Beverage department, including roles such as Cocktail Server, Busser, Cashier, Host, and Expeditor.

This position upholds the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest records while fostering positive relationships with guests and team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to providing exceptional service to fellow team members, guests, and vendors. Regular attendance is expected, and flexibility for later hours or weekend shifts may be necessary, along with maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

This position does not include any supervisory duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Attendant include, but are not limited to:

  • A genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a dynamic environment.

  • Accurately managing and reconciling revenue.
  • Taking and delivering orders to guests.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in assigned sections.
  • Keeping the wait station organized and stocked.
  • Being knowledgeable about menu items and beverage selections.
  • Working safely and efficiently, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Exhibiting friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy towards team members and guests.
  • Arriving at the workstation punctually and prepared to commence duties.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and capable of obtaining and retaining a Washington State Class II Gaming License; successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.

Knowledge of State and County sanitation regulations is essential, along with obtaining and maintaining a Washington State Food Handlers Permit. A Washington State Liquor License is required, and a ServeSafe Permit is preferred. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous.

Candidates should possess a pleasant demeanor, be team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with all policies and procedures of Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel, including daily memorandums and safety protocols, is expected.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

This role necessitates wearing non-skid, slip-resistant footwear suitable for navigating a kitchen environment safely on various floor surfaces typically found in restaurants.

While fulfilling the duties of this position, team members are frequently required to stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, stretch and reach with arms, stoop, crouch, or work in confined spaces. Regular lifting and/or moving of items weighing up to 75+ pounds may be necessary. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The environmental characteristics described here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.

This role is primarily indoors and may involve exposure to smoke and temperature fluctuations in a casino and hotel setting. Continuous exposure to water, heat, and noise from gaming machines, patrons, music, and public announcements is common in this environment. Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel operates around the clock.
