Freedom Motors USA is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee development, and performance management. The successful candidate will apply innovative HR solutions to elevate the employee experience, fuel engagement, and drive overall organizational growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert HR guidance to leaders on complex employee issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Lead the HR team and provide leadership and support to Human Resources Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Conduct thorough employee investigations, make recommendations to management, and apply disciplinary action as necessary, consulting with legal counsel for employment law guidance.
- Collaborate with the benefit consultant team and CFO to analyze and evaluate data, managing an attractive benefits package that supports the health and well-being of Freedom Motors' employees and their families.
- Oversee group benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, employee education, and answering questions, ensuring a cost-effective benefits strategy while maintaining high-value benefits.
- Manage leave policies, including FMLA, Short-Term & Long-Term disability, Worker's Compensation, and personal LOA, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in tracking and reporting compliance with ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and MIOSHA, ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement performance management strategies, coordinating and tracking annual review processes and partnering with management on staffing strategies, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives, driving a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization.
- Attend Production and Parts weekly meetings to foster open communication and dialogue, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Report HR metrics and updates in Department Head weekly meetings, identifying opportunities for human resources practices to add value and drive successful organizational outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years human resources experience, with a strong track record of success in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development.
- HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, handling highly sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Demonstrate initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and excellent analytical and multi-tasking skills, driving results-oriented solutions and continuous improvement.
