Job Summary

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supervising food-service associates and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop food-service associates to meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Advises management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages.
  • Ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control through the use of approved food recipes and production standards.
  • Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Operate food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Help serve meals and remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
