About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Expedia Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for developing new AI/ML capabilities to support new experiences across Expedia brands and lines of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Product Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy to leverage AI/ML capabilities to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
  • Translate Strategy into Roadmap: Create a detailed roadmap to achieve short-term and long-term goals, leveraging best-in-class technologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to rollout, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new features and capabilities.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with ML engineering, data science, data engineering, UX, and front-end PM partners to drive innovation and adoption of AI/ML capabilities.
  • Establish Partnerships: Foster strong partnerships with other product teams to promote the adoption of AI/ML capabilities through new use cases and drive business growth.
  • Reduce Time-to-Market: Influence the roadmap of other teams to reduce time-to-market for new platform features and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Product Management Experience: Proven track record of shipping data, ML, and AI-centric products with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of different machine learning types and algorithms, as well as experience designing technical products that leverage data, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent related professional experience) in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in search, ranking, personalization, ads, or similar areas is highly beneficial.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Robust analytical skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decisions and drive business growth.
Compensation and Benefits

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $125,500 to $176,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $201,000, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
