Product Manager III

As Expedia Group continues to build the world's most intelligent travel platform, harnessing the power of data, machine learning, and AI is crucial to unlocking new traveler experiences. We are seeking an impact-driven Product Manager to join our Traveler AI product management team to develop personalized and AI-powered experiences for millions of users across Expedia brands and lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy to develop new AI/ML capabilities to support new experiences across Expedia brands and lines of business
  • Translate the strategy into a roadmap, leveraging best-in-class technologies to achieve short-term and long-term goals
  • Define product requirements for new features
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to rollout
  • Lead a cross-functional team, including ML engineering, data science, data engineering, UX, and front-end PM partners
  • Establish strong partnerships with other product teams to foster adoption of ML/AI capabilities through new use cases
  • Reduce time-to-market for new platform features by influencing the roadmap of other teams

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant product management experience, including 2 years in shipping data, ML, and AI-centric products
  • Comfortable designing technical products that leverage data, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
  • Possess knowledge of different machine learning types and algorithms
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent related professional experience)
  • Previous experience in search, ranking, personalization, ads, or similar areas is beneficial
  • Exhibit a bias for action and can influence senior stakeholders through excellent communication skills
  • Robust analytical skills drive data-informed decisions
  • Effectively collaborate with diverse teams to achieve company goals

Compensation:

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $125,500.00 to $176,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $201,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
