Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and position patients for ultrasonic examinations
- Operate and maintain ultrasonic diagnostic equipment
- Perform ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, neuro, oncology, pediatric, and vascular Doppler examinations
- Record patient history and pertinent clinical data related to procedures
- Label images appropriately and retrieve preliminary findings for physicians and nursing units
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Minimum of two years hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
