Cancer Care Opportunities

Our esteemed cancer center on Oregon's South Coast is seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with radiation oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients with various types of cancers, including breast, lung, colon, and hematological malignancies.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients requiring concurrent chemoradiation therapy.
  • Participate in tumor boards and discuss complex cases with other oncology specialists.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and improving quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (within 2 years).
  • Oregon medical license or ability to obtain.
  • Experience practicing Radiation Oncology (strongly preferred).
  • BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Ties to Oregon (family, past residence, etc.).
