Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Educator will:
- Utilize the nursing process to identify practice gaps and assess educational needs.
- Facilitate engaging learning environments that promote professional development.
- Evaluate educational outcomes to ensure high-quality clinical practices.
- Oversee staff onboarding and orientation, ensuring competency management.
- Implement evidence-based practices and support staff role development.
- Collaborate with various committees to enhance quality improvement and patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted Professional Nursing License.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience in acute care nursing, with a minimum of three years in a relevant setting.
- At least one year of experience in clinical education and staff development.
