Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to improve clinical skills and knowledge of nursing staff
  • Assess practice gaps and identify learning needs to inform educational initiatives
  • Collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment and promote a culture of excellence
  • Evaluate outcomes to ensure high-quality clinical practice and optimal patient care
  • Manage competency management, department-specific educational training, and AHA life safety compliance
  • Implement evidence-based practice and research to drive quality improvement
  • Provide mentorship and support to staff to enhance their professional development
  • Support health programs and student placements to foster a culture of learning and growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in the United States
  • Three years of acute care nursing practice, including ICU, PCU, ER, or PACU/post-op recovery
  • At least one year of experience in clinical education and staff professional development within the past two years
  • One year of verifiable experience providing staff orientation, educational program presentations, or on-the-job training
